Iona was run off the court by Manhattan on Sunday as they blasted them 72-49 at Draddy Gymnasium.
Manhattan won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -3.5-point spread as favorites.
Manhattan got 15 points from Nehemiah Mack and another 12 points from Christian Hinckson. Christian Hinckson contributed 6 assists, while Pauly Paulicap cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Iona got 17 points from E.J. Crawford in a losing cause and another 13 points from Tajuan Agee. Isaiah Washington contributed 3 assists for them, while Tajuan Agee had 10 rebounds.
Manhattan trailed at halftime, 35-34.
Manhattan won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-25.
Manhattan heads into a battle against Niagara. Iona, meanwhile, will have their next action against Quinnipiac.
