Loyola Marymount Falls 85-67 to Gonzaga - Recap

Gonzaga got 21 points from Filip Petrusev en route to a 85-67 victory over Loyola Marymount on Thursday at McCarthey Athletic Center.

Gonzaga won the battle on the scoreboard, but not at the payout window as they failed to cover the -25.0-point spread.

Drew Timme had 17 points for Gonzaga and Admon Gilder chipped in with 17 points. Corey Kispert had 4 assists for them, while Drew Timme was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

Loyola Marymount got 15 points from Eli Scott in a losing cause and another 12 points from Ivan Alipiev. Eli Scott contributed 4 assists for them, while Jordan Bell had 6 rebounds.

Gonzaga was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
