Dayton Defeats Rhode Island 84-57 - Recap
The battle between Dayton and Rhode Island didnt turn out to be much of a battle at all as Rhode Island was handed a 84-57 defeat on Wednesday at Thomas M. Ryan Center.
Dayton was the ATS victor, as they covered the -3.5-point spread as a favorite.
Dayton got 20 points from Obi Toppin and another 17 points from Jalen Crutcher. Jalen Crutcher contributed 5 assists, while Trey Landers cleaned the glass with 14 rebounds.
Rhode Island got a 16-point performance from Jeff Dowtin, who was supported by 9 points from Fatts Russell. Fatts Russell had 4 assists in a losing cause for Rhode Island, while Cyril Langevine grabbed 8 rebounds.
