Florida State got 17 points from Trent Forrest en route to a 63-60 victory over Purdue on Saturday at The Arena at NW Florida St.
Florida State was a -1.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Devin Vassell had 13 points for Florida State and M.J. Walker chipped in with 7 points. M.J. Walker had 2 assists for them, while Raiquan Gray was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
Purdue got a 16-point performance from Matt Haarms, who was supported by 12 points from Jahaad Proctor. Eric Hunter Jr. had 4 assists in a losing cause for Purdue, while Aaron Wheeler grabbed 8 rebounds.
Florida State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Purdue won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 43-29.
