The battle between Alabama and LSU didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as LSU was handed a 105-75 defeat on Tuesday at Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

John Petty Jr. had 24 points for Alabama and Joshua Primo chipped in with 22 points. Jaden Shackelford had 8 assists for them, while James Rojas was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
LSU got 21 points from Cameron Thomas in a losing cause and another 12 points from Javonte Smart. Javonte Smart contributed 4 assists for them, while Trendon Watford had 8 rebounds.
Alabama was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Alabama won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-35.
Alabama looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mississippi State. LSU will aim to get back on the winning track at Kentucky.
