San Jose State Falls 96-61 to St. Mary's - Recap

St. Mary's cruised to victory on Friday, running San Jose State out of the gym and running up a 96-61 score at University Credit Union Pavilion.

St. Mary's was a -18.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.

Logan Johnson had 15 points for St. Mary's and Dan Fotu chipped in with 15 points. Matthias Tass had 4 assists for them, while Dan Fotu was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

San Jose State got 18 points from Omari Moore in a losing cause and another 17 points from Richard Washington. Omari Moore contributed 3 assists for them, while Hugo Clarkin had 6 rebounds.

St. Mary's was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

St. Mary's won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 44-25.

Next game, St. Mary's takes its act home to face Eastern Washington looking for another win. For San Jose State, they head on the road to face Cal Poly.
