MEAC Tournament - Recap - Norfolk State Defeats North Carolina Central 87-58
The battle between Norfolk State and North Carolina Central didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Carolina Central was handed a 87-58 defeat on Thursday at Norfolk Scope Arena.
Joe Bryant Jr. had 30 points for Norfolk State and Kashaun Hicks chipped in with 13 points. Devante Carter had 9 assists for them, while Devante Carter was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
North Carolina Central got a 19-point performance from C.J. Keyser, who was supported by 14 points from Deven Palmer. C.J. Keyser had 3 assists in a losing cause for North Carolina Central, while Deven Palmer grabbed 7 rebounds.
