Recap - Houston Defeats Rice 79-46

Houston blew out Rice on Friday, running up the score in a 79-46 win at Fertitta Center.

Houston won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -13.5-point spread as favorites.

Marcus Sasser had 26 points for Houston and Kyler Edwards chipped in with 18 points. Marcus Sasser had 5 assists for them, while J'Wan Roberts was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.

Rice got 11 points from Travis Evee in a losing cause and another 10 points from Riley Abercrombie. Travis Evee contributed 3 assists for them, while Max Fiedler had 7 rebounds.

Houston was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
