Recap - Indiana Defeats Jackson State 70-35
The battle between Indiana and Jackson State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Jackson State was handed a 70-35 defeat on Tuesday at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.
Indiana got 14 points from Xavier Johnson and another 12 points from Miller Kopp. Michael Durr contributed 4 assists, while Jordan Geronimo cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Jackson State got 14 points from Gabe Watson in a losing cause and another 6 points from Jayveous McKinnis. Jonas James III contributed 4 assists for them, while Jayveous McKinnis had 10 rebounds.
Indiana was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Indiana won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-29.
Indiana looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Marshall. Jackson State will aim to get back on the winning track at Louisiana-Lafayette.
