UMBC was run off the court by Georgetown University on Wednesday as they blasted them 100-71 at Capital One Arena.
Georgetown University got 34 points from Kaiden Rice and another 15 points from Ryan Mutombo. Dante Harris contributed 7 assists, while Ryan Mutombo cleaned the glass with 11 rebounds.
UMBC got 17 points from L.J. Owens in a losing cause and another 11 points from Darnell Rogers. Darnell Rogers contributed 5 assists for them, while Keondre Kennedy had 6 rebounds.
Georgetown University was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Georgetown University won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 55-27.
