Recap - Utah Defeats Manhattan 96-62
Manhattan was run off the court by Utah on Saturday as they blasted them 96-62 at Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Utah won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -15.5-point spread as favorites.
Lahat Thioune had 16 points for Utah and Riley Battin chipped in with 14 points. Branden Carlson had 4 assists for them, while Riley Battin was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
Manhattan got 15 points from Romar Reid in a losing cause and another 11 points from Josh Roberts. Marques Watson contributed 3 assists for them, while Josh Roberts had 7 rebounds.
Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah had a 39-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face Missouri looking for another win. For Manhattan, they head home to face Charleston Southern.
