UMass-Lowell Defeats UMBC 66-64 - Recap
UMass-Lowell got 16 points from Allin Blunt as they ran past UMBC 66-64 on Saturday at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena.
UMass-Lowell got 14 points from Everette Hammond and another 13 points from Max Brooks. Justin Faison contributed 3 assists, while Max Brooks cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
UMBC got a 20-point performance from Keondre Kennedy, who was supported by 17 points from L.J. Owens. Keondre Kennedy had 3 assists in a losing cause for UMBC, while Yaw Obeng-Mensah grabbed 12 rebounds.
UMass-Lowell was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMBC had a 37-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
