Seton Hall Defeats Connecticut 90-87 - Recap

Seton Hall got 27 points from Kadary Richmond en route to a 90-87 victory over Connecticut on Saturday at Prudential Center.

Seton Hall won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -4.0-point spread.

Bryce Aiken had 22 points for Seton Hall and Jared Rhoden chipped in with 15 points. Bryce Aiken had 7 assists for them, while Tyrese Samuel was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

Connecticut got 18 points from Adama Sanogo in a losing cause and another 15 points from R.J. Cole. R.J. Cole contributed 4 assists for them, while Adama Sanogo had 16 rebounds.

Seton Hall trailed at halftime, 41-38.

Connecticut won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-22.

Next game, Seton Hall takes its act on the road to face DePaul looking for another win. For Connecticut, they head home to face St. John's.
