UMBC Retrievers vs Maine Black Bears Wrap - UMBC Wins 88-46
The battle between UMBC and Maine didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Maine was handed a 88-46 defeat on Saturday at Cross Insurance Center.
UMBC got 17 points from Nathan Johnson and another 15 points from Keondre Kennedy. Keondre Kennedy contributed 4 assists, while Yaw Obeng-Mensah cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Maine got 10 points from Adefolalrin Adetogun in a losing cause and another 7 points from Sam Ihekwoaba. Kristians Feierbergs contributed 3 assists for them, while Kristians Feierbergs had 9 rebounds.
UMBC led at halftime, 45-21.
The rebound battle favored UMBC as they grabbed 40 boards, while Maine only had 29
