Recap - New Orleans Defeats Northwestern State 85-77
Northwestern State was burned for 29 points by Derek St. Hilaire on Saturday as New Orleans picked up a 85-77 win at Lakefront Arena.
Troy Green had 16 points for New Orleans and Simeon Kirkland chipped in with 11 points. Derek St. Hilaire had 4 assists for them, while Troy Green was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Northwestern State got 21 points from Brian White in a losing cause and another 19 points from Kendal Coleman. Carvell Teasett contributed 5 assists for them, while Kendal Coleman had 15 rebounds.
New Orleans was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
New Orleans won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-27.
