Maine Falls 62-50 to UMass-Lowell - Recap
UMass-Lowell grabbed a 62-50 win over Maine on Wednesday, behind a 18-point effort from Allin Blunt at Cross Insurance Center.
Max Brooks had 13 points for UMass-Lowell and Everette Hammond chipped in with 11 points. Ayinde Hikim had 8 assists for them, while Max Brooks was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.
Maine got 16 points from Maks Klanjscek in a losing cause and another 12 points from Ja'Shonte Wright-McLeish. Ata Turgut contributed 2 assists for them, while Stephane Ingo had 7 rebounds.
UMass-Lowell was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMass-Lowell had a 31-30 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, UMass-Lowell takes its act home to face Vermont looking for another win. For Maine, they head on the road to face Binghamton.
