Chase Johnston scored 18 points leading Stetson to a 77-71 victory over Lipscomb at Allen Arena on Thursday.
Christiaan Jones had 14 points for Stetson and Josh Smith chipped in with 10 points. Chase Johnston had 3 assists for them, while Josh Smith was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Lipscomb got 22 points from Will Pruitt in a losing cause and another 13 points from Ahsan Asadullah. Ahsan Asadullah contributed 6 assists for them, while Ahsan Asadullah had 13 rebounds.
Stetson had a 35-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
