George Washington Falls 78-73 to Davidson - Recap

Luka Brajkovic poured in 30 points for Davidson on Saturday, as they defeated George Washington 78-73 at Charles E. Smith Center.

Davidson did not, however, defeat George Washington against the spread, which closed at -10.0 at most sportsbooks.

Foster Loyer had 16 points for Davidson and Sam Mennenga chipped in with 11 points. Foster Loyer had 5 assists for them, while Luka Brajkovic was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.

George Washington got a 26-point performance from James Bishop, who was supported by 19 points from Joe Bamisile. Brayon Freeman had 4 assists in a losing cause for George Washington, while Joe Bamisile grabbed 4 rebounds.

Davidson was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Davidson won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 26-21.

Davidson looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Saint Joseph's. George Washington will aim to get back on the winning track at UMass.
