Butler Defeats Marquette 85-79 - Recap
Bryce Golden scored 22 points leading Butler to a 85-79 victory over Marquette at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Butler was an underdog by +3.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
Chuck Harris had 15 points for Butler and Simas Lukosius chipped in with 14 points. Chuck Harris had 5 assists for them, while Bo Hodges was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Marquette got 27 points from Justin Lewis in a losing cause and another 17 points from Tyler Kolek. Darryl Morsell contributed 3 assists for them, while Justin Lewis had 9 rebounds.
Butler was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Butler won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-27.
Next game, Butler takes its act on the road to face DePaul looking for another win. For Marquette, they head home to face Georgetown University.
