Northern Illinois Falls 78-75 to Miami-Ohio - Recap
Miami-Ohio got 19 points from Dae Dae Grant en route to a 78-75 victory over Northern Illinois on Saturday at Convocation Center.
Miami-Ohio did not, however, defeat Northern Illinois against the spread, which closed at -3.5 at most sportsbooks.

Northern Illinois got 14 points from Adong Makuoi in a losing cause and another 13 points from Trendon Hankerson. Kaleb Thornton contributed 8 assists for them, while Adong Makuoi had 8 rebounds.
Miami-Ohio was losing at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Miami-Ohio looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Buffalo. Northern Illinois will aim to get back on the winning track at Eastern Michigan.
