UMBC Defeats Hartford 92-85 - Recap
UMBC got 26 points from Darnell Rogers en route to a 92-85 victory over Hartford on Wednesday at Chase Family Arena.
UMBC got 24 points from Keondre Kennedy and another 17 points from Szymon Wojcik. Keondre Kennedy contributed 3 assists, while Szymon Wojcik cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Hartford got 22 points from Moses Flowers in a losing cause and another 22 points from Briggs McClain. Traci Carter contributed 5 assists for them, while David Shriver had 8 rebounds.
UMBC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Hartford won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 32-26.
UMBC looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Maine. Hartford will aim to get back on the winning track vs. NJIT.
