VCU Defeats UMass 77-62 - Recap
KeShawn Curry scored 18 points leading VCU to a 77-62 victory over UMass at William D. Mullins Center on Saturday.
VCU was a favorite by -6.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors.
VCU got 12 points from Marcus Tsohonis and another 10 points from Vince Williams Jr.. Adrian Baldwin Jr. contributed 9 assists, while Hason Ward cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
UMass got a 12-point performance from Trent Buttrick, who was supported by 11 points from Michael Steadman. Noah Fernandes had 4 assists in a losing cause for UMass, while Michael Steadman grabbed 8 rebounds.
VCU led at halftime, 41-24.
UMass won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 34-26.
Next game, VCU takes its act home to face St. Bonaventure looking for another win. For UMass, they head on the road to face Fordham.
