Air Force Falcons vs Tarleton State Texans Wrap - Tarleton State Wins 67-45
The battle between Tarleton State and Air Force didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Air Force was handed a 67-45 defeat on Tuesday at Wisdom Gymnasium.
Tarleton State won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -7.0-point spread as favorites.
Tarleton State got 14 points from Tahj Small and another 12 points from Montre Gipson. Shamir Bogues contributed 3 assists, while Freddy Hicks cleaned the glass with 9 rebounds.
Air Force got 15 points from Jake Heidbreder in a losing cause and another 9 points from Joseph Octave. Ethan Taylor contributed 4 assists for them, while Nikc Jackson had 6 rebounds.
Tarleton State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Tarleton State had a 23-20 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Tarleton State heads into a battle against Dixie State. Air Force, meanwhile, will have their next action against Utah State.
