Pittsburgh Defeats North Florida 82-56 - Recap
The battle between Pittsburgh and North Florida didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Florida was handed a 82-56 defeat on Saturday at Petersen Events Center.
Pittsburgh got 22 points from Federiko Federiko and another 18 points from Blake Hinson. Nelly Cummings contributed 7 assists, while Greg Elliott cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
North Florida got a 15-point performance from Jarius Hicklen, who was supported by 12 points from Carter Hendricksen. Jarius Hicklen had 3 assists in a losing cause for North Florida, while Carter Hendricksen grabbed 8 rebounds.
Pittsburgh was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Pittsburgh won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-25.
Pittsburgh looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Syracuse. North Florida will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Davis & Elkins.
