North Alabama Falls 79-57 to Stetson - Recap
The battle between Stetson and North Alabama didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as North Alabama was handed a 79-57 defeat on Thursday at Edmunds Center.
Jalen Blackmon had 22 points for Stetson and Wheza Panzo chipped in with 19 points. Cyncier Harrison had 5 assists for them, while Mahamadou Diawara was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.
North Alabama got 14 points from Daniel Ortiz in a losing cause and another 12 points from KJ Johnson. Jacari Lane contributed 3 assists for them, while Dallas Howell had 6 rebounds.
Stetson was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Stetson had a 36-29 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Stetson heads into a battle against Central Arkansas. North Alabama, meanwhile, will have their next action against Florida Gulf Coast.
