UTSA Falls 91-70 to Utah - Recap

The battle between Utah and UTSA didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as UTSA was handed a 91-70 defeat on Tuesday at Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Utah won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -22.5-point spread.

Branden Carlson had 27 points for Utah and Gabe Madsen chipped in with 16 points. Rollie Worster had 9 assists for them, while Marco Anthony was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 10 boards.

UTSA got 23 points from Japhet Medor in a losing cause and another 12 points from DJ Richards. Japhet Medor contributed 4 assists for them, while Japhet Medor had 6 rebounds.

Utah was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Utah had a 48-20 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Utah takes its act on the road to face BYU looking for another win. For UTSA, they head home to face Bethune-Cookman.
