Charlotte was scorched by Jordan Walker for 25 points as UAB defeated them 76-68 in NCAA action on Thursday.
UAB won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the -12.0-point spread.

Charlotte got a 17-point performance from Aly Khalifa, who was supported by 14 points from Brice Williams. Montre' Gipson had 5 assists in a losing cause for Charlotte, while Robert Braswell IV grabbed 6 rebounds.
UAB was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
