UTEP Falls 73-68 to Western Kentucky - Recap

Western Kentucky grabbed a 73-68 win over UTEP on Thursday, behind a 24-point effort from Dayvion McKnight at Don Haskins Center.

Western Kentucky was the ATS victor, as they covered the +3.0-point spread as an underdog.

Jordan Rawls had 15 points for Western Kentucky and Jamarion Sharp chipped in with 10 points. Dayvion McKnight had 3 assists for them, while Jamarion Sharp was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.

UTEP got 17 points from Tae Hardy in a losing cause and another 16 points from Calvin Solomon. Shamar Givance contributed 6 assists for them, while Calvin Solomon had 7 rebounds.

Western Kentucky was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Western Kentucky won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 29-24.

Next game, Western Kentucky takes its act on the road to face North Texas looking for another win. For UTEP, they head home to face Middle Tennessee.
