Davidson Falls 69-55 to Dayton - Recap

Davidson was victimized for 32 points and 10 rebounds by DaRon Holmes II as Dayton defeated them 69-55 in NCAA action on Saturday.

Dayton won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -4.0-point spread as favorites.

Dayton got 10 points from Toumani Camara and another 9 points from Koby Brea. DaRon Holmes II contributed 4 assists, while Mustapha Amzil cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.

Davidson got a 13-point performance from Desmond Watson, who was supported by 12 points from Foster Loyer. Grant Huffman had 2 assists in a losing cause for Davidson, while Reed Bailey grabbed 7 rebounds.

Dayton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.

Dayton had a 38-23 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.

Next game, Dayton takes its act home to face Saint Joseph's looking for another win. For Davidson, they head home to face Loyola-Chicago.
