Monmouth Falls 80-46 Against Charlotte - Game Recap
The battle between Charlotte and Monmouth didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Monmouth was handed a 80-46 defeat on Saturday at OceanFirst Bank Center.
Charlotte was a -9.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Charlotte got 14 points from Jackson Threadgill and another 10 points from Josh Aldrich. Lu'Cye Patterson contributed 4 assists, while Igor Milicic Jr. cleaned the glass with 6 rebounds.
Monmouth got a 16-point performance from Myles Ruth, who was supported by 7 points from Jack Collins. Jack Collins had 2 assists in a losing cause for Monmouth, while Myles Foster grabbed 7 rebounds.
First-half bettors who backed Charlotte were victorious, as the score was 38-19 at the break.
Next game, Charlotte takes its act on the road to face UAB looking for another win. For Monmouth, they head home to face Yale.
