Weber State Defeats Northern Arizona 72-70 - Recap
Northern Arizona was burned for 26 points by Dillon Jones on Thursday as Weber State picked up a 72-70 win at Walkup Skydome.
Weber State did not, however, defeat Northern Arizona against the spread, which closed at -6.0 at most sportsbooks.
Weber State got 19 points from Blaise Threatt and another 13 points from Steven Verplancken. Dillon Jones contributed 4 assists, while Dillon Jones cleaned the glass with 8 rebounds.
Northern Arizona got 29 points from Trent McLaughlin in a losing cause and another 16 points from Carson Basham. Jayden Jackson contributed 4 assists for them, while Jayden Jackson had 8 rebounds.
Weber State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Next game, Weber State takes its act on the road to face Northern Colorado looking for another win. For Northern Arizona, they head home to face Idaho State.
