Eastern Kentucky Colonels vs Purdue Boilermakers Wrap - Purdue Wins 80-53
The battle between Purdue and Eastern Kentucky didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Eastern Kentucky was handed a 80-53 defeat on Friday at Mackey Arena.
Fletcher Loyer had 14 points for Purdue and Zach Edey chipped in with 13 points. Braden Smith had 8 assists for them, while Mason Gillis was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
Eastern Kentucky got 14 points from Devontae Blanton in a losing cause and another 12 points from Leland Walker. Devontae Blanton contributed 3 assists for them, while Isaiah Cozart had 5 rebounds.
Purdue was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
