Binghamton grabbed a 76-74 win over Maine on Thursday, behind a 17-point effort from Gavin Walsh at Events Center.
Binghamton got 16 points from Armon Harried and another 13 points from Dan Petcash. Armon Harried contributed 7 assists, while Dan Petcash cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Maine got 17 points from Peter Filipovity in a losing cause and another 16 points from Kellen Tynes. Kellen Tynes contributed 3 assists for them, while Peter Filipovity had 14 rebounds.
Binghamton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Binghamton won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-30.
