Penn State-York got 25 points from Deriq Brown in a losing cause and another 13 points from Quentin Wells. Quentin Wells contributed 4 assists for them, while Deriq Brown had 9 rebounds.
UMBC was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
UMBC won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 37-28.
