Recap - Princeton Defeats Monmouth 82-57
Monmouth was run off the court by Princeton on Saturday as they blasted them 82-57 at OceanFirst Bank Center.
Princeton was a -8.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
Princeton got 20 points from Caden Pierce and another 19 points from Matt Allocco. Matt Allocco contributed 2 assists, while Caden Pierce cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Monmouth got 16 points from Xander Rice in a losing cause and another 9 points from Cornelius Robinson Jr.. Nikita Konstantynovskyi contributed 2 assists for them, while Jack Collins had 12 rebounds.
Princeton was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Princeton won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 39-35.
Princeton looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Old Dominion. Monmouth will aim to get back on the winning track vs. Lehigh.
