Stetson got 21 points from Stephan Swenson en route to a 75-74 victory over North Florida on Thursday at Edmunds Center.
Alec Oglesby had 13 points for Stetson and Aubin Gateretse chipped in with 10 points. Treyton Thompson had 2 assists for them, while Aubin Gateretse was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.
North Florida got 18 points from Nate Lliteras in a losing cause and another 14 points from Chaz Lanier. Jaylen Smith contributed 3 assists for them, while Dorian James had 6 rebounds.
Stetson had a 30-27 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Stetson takes its act home to face Jacksonville looking for another win. For North Florida, they head on the road to face Florida Gulf Coast.
