VMI Falls 64-54 to Air Force - Recap
Ethan Taylor scored 19 points leading Air Force to a 64-54 victory over VMI at Clune Arena on Wednesday.
Air Force did not, however, defeat VMI against the spread, which closed at -13.5 at most sportsbooks.
Beau Becker had 19 points for Air Force and Jeffrey Mills chipped in with 14 points. Jeffrey Mills had 4 assists for them, while Ethan Taylor was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 8 boards.
VMI got 15 points from Koree Cotton in a losing cause and another 10 points from Brennan Watkins. Brennan Watkins contributed 3 assists for them, while Koree Cotton had 7 rebounds.
Air Force was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
VMI won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 33-32.
Air Force heads into a battle against South Dakota. VMI, meanwhile, will have their next action against Clarks Summit.
