Rider got 24 points from Mervin James en route to a 71-61 victory over Niagara on Friday at Gallagher Center.
Rider won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the +2.0-point spread as underdogs.
Rider got 16 points from JT Langston Jr. and another 9 points from Tariq Ingraham. Allen Powell contributed 5 assists, while Tariq Ingraham cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.
