Morgan State Falls 77-59 to High Point - Recap
High Point got 20 points and 10 rebounds from Kimani Hamilton en route to a 77-59 victory over Morgan State on Wednesday at Qubein Center.
High Point got 15 points from Trae Benham and another 13 points from Duke Miles. Duke Miles contributed 6 assists, while Kimani Hamilton cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Morgan State got 14 points from Christian Oliver in a losing cause and another 12 points from Wynston Tabbs. Ahmarie Simpkins contributed 4 assists for them, while Ahmarie Simpkins had 8 rebounds.
High Point was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
High Point won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 36-32.
Next game, High Point takes its act on the road to face North Florida looking for another win. For Morgan State, they head home to face Longwood.
