Recap - UMass Defeats La Salle 81-65
UMass got 24 points and 10 rebounds from Josh Cohen en route to a 81-65 victory over La Salle on Wednesday at William D. Mullins Center.
UMass won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -8.5-point spread as favorites.
Rahsool Diggins had 15 points for UMass and Jaylen Curry chipped in with 12 points. Rahsool Diggins had 4 assists for them, while Daniel Hankins-Sanford was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 13 boards.
La Salle got 14 points from Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi in a losing cause and another 12 points from Jhamir Brickus. Jhamir Brickus contributed 6 assists for them, while Daeshon Shepherd had 8 rebounds.
