Recap - St. Mary's Defeats New Mexico 72-58

New Mexico was scorched by Aidan Mahaney for 25 points as St. Mary's defeated them 72-58 in NCAA action on Thursday.

St. Mary's won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -9.0-point spread as favorites.

Harry Wessels had 12 points for St. Mary's and Augustas Marciulionis chipped in with 9 points. Augustas Marciulionis had 5 assists for them, while Mitchell Saxen was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 7 boards.

New Mexico got 15 points from Donovan Dent in a losing cause and another 11 points from Nelly Junior Joseph. Donovan Dent contributed 5 assists for them, while Nelly Junior Joseph had 13 rebounds.

St. Mary's was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
