Villanova Defeats DePaul 84-48 - Recap
Villanova blew out DePaul on Saturday, running up the score in a 84-48 win at Wintrust Arena.
Villanova won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -10.5-point spread as favorites.
Hakim Hart had 20 points for Villanova and Eric Dixon chipped in with 12 points. TJ Bamba had 4 assists for them, while Tyler Burton was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 9 boards.
DePaul got 11 points from Chico Carter Jr. in a losing cause and another 11 points from Jaden Henley. Chico Carter Jr. contributed 4 assists for them, while Da'Sean Nelson had 6 rebounds.
Villanova led at halftime, 46-29.
Villanova had a 41-21 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Next game, Villanova takes its act home to face Xavier looking for another win. For DePaul, they head home to face Chicago State.
