Monmouth vs Stony Brook Final: 84-61 - Recap
Monmouth blew out Stony Brook on Saturday, running up the score in a 84-61 win at OceanFirst Bank Center.
Monmouth won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -2.5-point spread as favorites.
Nikita Konstantynovskyi had 22 points for Monmouth and Jaret Valencia chipped in with 17 points. Xander Rice had 5 assists for them, while Nikita Konstantynovskyi was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 20 boards.
Stony Brook got 16 points from Tyler Stephenson-Moore in a losing cause and another 13 points from Keenan Fitzmorris. Aaron Clarke contributed 5 assists for them, while Andre Snoddy had 12 rebounds.
Monmouth was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Monmouth had a 43-31 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
