High Point got 13 points from Kimani Hamilton and another 13 points from Trae Benham. Kezza Giffa contributed 5 assists, while Juslin Bodo Bodo cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Winthrop got 22 points from Kelton Talford in a losing cause and another 18 points from Kasen Harrison. Alex Timmerman contributed 1 assists for them, while Alex Timmerman had 6 rebounds.

High Point won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 31-26.
