MUW Owls vs Alabama State Hornets Wrap - Alabama State Wins 80-60
The battle between Alabama State and MUW didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as MUW was handed a 80-60 defeat on Sunday at Dunn-Oliver Acadome.
Alabama State got 18 points from Kendal Parker and another 15 points from TJ Madlock. CJ Hines contributed 5 assists, while Eric Coleman cleaned the glass with 5 rebounds.
MUW got a 12-point performance from Dariun Doss, who was supported by 10 points from Cam Smith. Chris Evans had 3 assists in a losing cause for MUW, while Tyson Smithey grabbed 7 rebounds.
Alabama State was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Alabama State had a 36-33 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Alabama State heads into a battle against LSU. MUW, meanwhile, will have their next action against McNeese State.
