New Mexico Lobos vs San Jose State Spartans Wrap - New Mexico Wins 95-75
The battle between New Mexico and San Jose State didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as San Jose State was handed a 95-75 defeat on Wednesday at Provident Credit Union Event Center.
New Mexico was a -8.0-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters.
New Mexico got 18 points from Jaelen House and another 17 points from Jamal Mashburn Jr.. Donovan Dent contributed 6 assists, while JT Toppin cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
San Jose State got 24 points from Myron Amey Jr. in a losing cause and another 12 points from Tibet Gorener. Alvaro Cardenas contributed 10 assists for them, while Myron Amey Jr. had 9 rebounds.
New Mexico was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Next game, New Mexico takes its act home to face Nevada looking for another win. For San Jose State, they head home to face UNLV.
