UTSA got 15 points from Christian Tucker and another 10 points from Carlton Linguard Jr.. Christian Tucker contributed 8 assists, while Trey Edmonds cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Houston Baptist got 23 points from Marcus Greene in a losing cause and another 19 points from Jay Alvarez. Bonke Maring contributed 3 assists for them, while Michael Imariagbe had 11 rebounds.
UTSA won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 38-32.
Next game, UTSA takes its act home to face Jacksonville State looking for another win. For Houston Baptist, they head on the road to face Oklahoma State.
