Utah Runnin' Utes vs Washington Huskies Wrap - Washington Wins 98-73
Washington cruised to victory on Saturday, running Utah out of the gym and running up a 98-73 score at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Washington won and also put money in the pockets of their supporters by covering the -1.0-point spread as favorites.
Washington got 27 points from Keion Brooks Jr. and another 18 points from Paul Mulcahy. Sahvir Wheeler contributed 10 assists, while Moses Wood cleaned the glass with 7 rebounds.
Utah got a 20-point performance from Deivon Smith, who was supported by 13 points from Ben Carlson. Cole Bajema had 3 assists in a losing cause for Utah, while Keba Keita grabbed 7 rebounds.
Washington was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Utah won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 30-28.
Next game, Washington takes its act home to face Washington State looking for another win. For Utah, they head home to face Colorado.
