Bethesda was run off the court by Grand Canyon on Wednesday as they blasted them 124-74 at Bryant Fitness Center at Luke AFB.
Jovan Blacksher Jr. had 20 points for Grand Canyon and Lok Wur chipped in with 15 points. Josh Baker had 9 assists for them, while Derrick Michael Xzavierro was the team's top rebounder, grabbing 11 boards.
Bethesda got a 34-point performance from Jonathan Ileleji, who was supported by 10 points from Jonathan Akharoh. Kizhonie Blunt had 3 assists in a losing cause for Bethesda, while Kizhonie Blunt grabbed 8 rebounds.
Grand Canyon was winning at the break before taking care of business in the second half.
Grand Canyon won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 46-25.
Grand Canyon heads into a battle against Louisiana Tech. Bethesda, meanwhile, will have their next action against UNLV.
