Winnipeg Defeats Ottawa 29-14 - Recap

Nic Demski was good for 105 receiving yards on Friday as the Blue Bombers grabbed a 29-14 win over the RedBlacks at TD Place Stadium.

The Blue Bombers were a +3.0-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 54.0.

Andrew Harris rushed for 80 yards, while Chris Streveler added 44 yards in the win. Nic Demski and Darvin Adams added 105 and 55 receiving yards respectively.

Mossis Madu Jr. rushed for 18 yards for Ottawa, while Jean-Christophe Beaulieu added 4 yards. Dominique Davis threw for 234 yards for the RedBlacks, while receivers R.J. Harris and Dominique Rhymes had 87 and 58 yards respectively.

Ottawa lost the offensive yardage battle to Winnipeg 453-258 yards in Friday's game. Winnipeg had more first downs as that total ended up 26-14.

Ottawa lost the time of possession battle 39:01-20:59, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.

Winnipeg heads into a Week 5 battle against the Argonauts. Ottawa, meanwhile, will have their next action against Montreal.
